What is your session format & rates?

All therapy sessions at LEL Therapy are virtual, so we can meet from the comfort of your home! We currently only able to meet with clients who are located in the states of New York and Florida based on our LEL Therapy team’s licensure.

Individual Sessions are 45 min in length unless otherwise specified. Ex: half sessions & double sessions can be accommodated.

Group sessions are 60 min.

Therapy yields the most consistent results when started on a weekly basis. Therapists might also recommend stepping frequency up or down on a case-by-case basis.

Session rates range based off of the clinician’s experience and expertise. At our practice the rates range from $125-275.

Do you take insurance?

We are out-of-network providers so we are not in-network with any insurance companies. However, some people have more out-of-network benefits than they realize when it comes to mental health!

We recommend prospective clients call the number on the back of their insurance card and ask the following questions:

The 4 questions that you will want to ask an insurance representative:

  1.  Does your plan include “out-of-network” coverage for mental health?

  2.  What is your annual deductible for mental health benefits?

  3.  What is your co-insurance? (What percentage does the plan cover?)

  4.  Is there a limit on the number of sessions your plan will cover per year?

It is also helpful to find out how you can submit your Super Bills to your insurance, which LEL Therapy automatically provides for all clients via email on a monthly basis.

Our online system takes payment via anything that acts like a credit/debit card so most HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Is therapy forever?

Therapy is a tool to help you access more tools within yourself. Every therapeutic journey is different! We tell clients that our goal is to provide support for as long as you need, and you may end up finding value in a longer-term relationship.

Additionally, we’ve seen clients for years who decide to take a break and come back when they feel their anxieties rising or have other external circumstances that increase the need for therapy. We are always happy to hear from past clients no matter how long it has been — whether you want to come back or simply send a life update via email.
